Having a mailbox with your domain name is important for your business because it provides a more professional and credible image to your customers and stakeholders.

With the domain name you've acquired through BaseKit, you can create up to 3 mailboxes. Here is how you can do that.
Go to the Mailboxes panel
First, click on the Main menu, located at the top-left corner of your site builder.
Choose Mailboxes from the left side panel
Add your first mailbox
Click on the purple Add mailbox button that you'll see on this page.
Fill in your details and then click on the Add mailbox button.
The mailbox will be created and you can start using it right away.
How to check your mail
You will need to configure a mail app for that purpose. All the information to do that can be found on the Mailbox page within the site builder under 'Mailbox information'.
For example, if you have a Mac computer, you would open the Mail.app and then go to its settings. From there:
- Click on Accounts
- Click on the + icon to add a new account
- Select Other mail account
- Click on Continue
Now type the e-mail you've just created on BaseKit, and your password. Then click Sign in.
As an example, you can see how the next screen would look for the mailbox I created using my domain name potterystudio.net
In rare cases, you may see a warning after this step. If you do, click on Continue to finish the setup process. You should now be able to access your e-mail using the Mail app
