What is Bookings?
It is an appointment booking software with built-in payments. It is everything you'll need to start offering your services through your website. Clients can book your services to be delivered online (video links) or within a physical location of your choosing.
You can also organize events with multiple attendants. There is no size limitation.
Who is the Bookings software for?
Our goal is to give small businesses the tools they need to succeed online. The bookings software is for small businesses wishing to expand their reach. There are two types of Bookings services: Appointments and Events.
The Bookings software was created to allow the booking of services, not accommodations or hostelry.
Can I take payments for my services through my website?
Yes. There are different payment methods available in the app.
Can I add multiple staff members to manage the bookings?
Not at the moment.
Do I need a physical location to accept Bookings through my site?
No. You have the option to set up video calls and offer your services that way (i.e. an online class).
What is the difference between an appointment and an event?
Appointments allow your clients to reserve slots of time from within your available business hours. You set up the type of appointment and its duration, and your customers can book their preferred slot.
Events are a type of service where you set the time and place. It does not necessarily have to be within your business hours. Customers are then able to register for the event.
Will e-mails be sent to my customers when they make a booking?
Yes. An email with the booking details will be sent automatically to them. As the site owner, you will also receive a notification and you'll be able to see the reservation in your calendar.
I'm clicking on the Bookings app, but it's not allowing me to use it. What is happening?
The Bookings app needs the /services URL to be free. Make sure you don't have any page using that URL before attempting to access the bookings app.
